What does the accuracy figure mean?

MARD is the average gap between what the sensor says and what a laboratory blood test says, as a percentage. A 10% MARD means readings are off by about 10% on average — so a true 7.0 mmol/L might show as anywhere around 6.3 to 7.7. Lower is better. Most current sensors sit under 10%; twenty years ago they were over 20%. No sensor is exact, which is why treatment decisions still get confirmed with a fingerstick when a reading does not match how you feel.

The least you can spend to wear one sensor for its full life. For subscription products it is one month, because you cannot buy less.

What works well

  • The glucose data is interpreted alongside a gut microbiome test and a blood fat test, not read in isolation
  • Cheaper than a year of any continuous sensor, because you only wear one once
  • The ongoing app subscription does not require buying more sensors

What to watch out for

  • The CGM is a one-off 14-day test, not something you keep wearing — if you want continuous data, this is the wrong product
  • The headline monthly price is the app subscription and does not include the test kit
  • No alarms and no published accuracy figure of its own

Our verdict

Not really a CGM product. ZOE is a nutrition programme that uses a two-week Libre sensor once to personalise its advice, then carries on as an app. Judge it as nutrition coaching, and if what you actually want is ongoing glucose data, buy a sensor instead.
