Where specifications come from

Wear time, warm-up, alarms and connectivity come from the manufacturer's own documentation. We do not copy specifications from retailer listings.

How we handle accuracy claims

Every accuracy (MARD) figure cites the published study it came from, and the site will not build if one does not. Where a device has no published figure we say so rather than borrowing one from a related product — the Libre 3 Plus and the Libre 3 are different sensors, and so are the Stelo and the G7.

Where an independent study disagrees with the manufacturer's own pivotal trial, we publish both numbers.

How we handle prices

Each price shows the date we last checked it. After 90 days we flag it as needing re-checking rather than presenting it as current. Where we could not confirm a price from a primary source, the site says “not published” instead of estimating one.

Old prices are archived rather than overwritten, so the record of what a sensor cost over time stays intact.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Every change is recorded in the site's git history. Compare CGM does not accept payment to change a verdict.
