About Compare CGM
Compare CGM compares continuous glucose monitors across nine markets. Every specification here comes from the manufacturer's own documentation or a published study, and every price comes from a storefront we checked on the date shown beside it.
Who this is for
Mainly people who suspect they are insulin resistant or prediabetic — a borderline HbA1c, a family history, or a doctor who said to keep an eye on it. Nobody is managing you, and the research suggests a sensor is genuinely useful in that position.
It is much less useful if you are already metabolically healthy. Systematic reviews find no appreciable glycemic benefit for people in the normal range, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a sensor.
If you have diagnosed diabetes, everything here is accurate and you are welcome to use it, but your clinician and what your health system funds will matter more than our table.
Who writes this
James Cooper researches and maintains the site. We are not clinicians, and nothing here is medical advice.
What we do not do
We do not test devices in a laboratory. We have no review panel and no clinical credentials. We do not accept payment for a favourable verdict. Where we earn affiliate commission, we say so on the page it appears.
When we say don't buy
Some people get very little from a CGM. Where the evidence says that, we say it too, even though it costs us the sale.
